Actiontec 1520 Bridged Ethernet Setup

Please install your Actiontec Router per the instructions in the included Users Guide. Keep in mind that Actiontec recommends that you use the ethernet connection rather than the USB Connection if at all possible. Once you have done this, please start your computer and open your web browser. In the address bar on the top, type 192.168.0.1 and hit enter - this should take you to the Actiontec configuration page

On the Actiontec page, select the Setup/Configuration option and go the the Advanced Setup - click "Begin Advanced Setup" and enter the following information -

Select "Save and Restart"

At this point, you should be ready to use your service. For the bridged ethernet service to work, you must assign the IP address given by Getnet to a device connected to the Actiontec Router, whether that be a PC, Mac, or another Router. Once this IP address has been assigned to the network card attached to the Actiontec, open your webbrowser. If you are able to load a webpage, you're done. If you cannot, please see the troubleshooting guide which can be found on the DSL Setup/Support page.

NOTE: If you are setting up a used modem, or you are re-entering the settings in your router, we recommend that you reset the modem prior to following these steps - this can be accomplished by holding down the "reset" button found on the back of the modem for 10 seconds. Doing this will reset the modem to its factory default settings.
