Seems that the latest Code Red Virus has been affecting many of the 67X Dsl modems. It appears that even with a reboot and sometimes a reconfiguration of the dsl modem your modem might not behave correctly or not at all. As a last alternative to this problem a flash upgrade might be needed to restore your modem to a working state.

• Login to your DSL modem.
  
• Type in "set web disable" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set web port 1025" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set web remote 192.168.1.10" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set tftp disable" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set syslog disable" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set snmp disable" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set password exec (login password dsl modem)" and press enter.
  
• Type in "set password enable (supervisor password dsl modem)" and press enter.
  
• Type in "write" and press enter.
  
• Type in "reboot" and press enter.

As mentioned previously flashing your modem is a last resort effort in restoring the unit to working condition and it could render your dsl modem useless.
