Please install your Intel Modem per the instructions in the included Users Guide. Once you have done this, please start your computer and insert the setup CD which was included with the modem.
Once your computer has completed booting up, it will recognize the modem and start the "Found New Hardware" Wizard. Select the option to search for drivers for the new device (it will most likely be recognized as an ATM Controller) and select the option to search for drivers on the CD-ROM.
Once the drivers have been installed, your PC may or may not reboot (depending upon your operating system). After the New Hardware Wizard has closed, the Intel Setup Wizard software should automatically start and guide you through the setup process. Please supply the following answers -
ISP Name - Getnet
ISP Tech Support Phone Number - 602-264-7000
ISP Protocol - Bridged Ethernet (RFC1483)
IP Address Settings - Static - enter the IP address, subnet, gateway, and DNS information you received from Getnet
WINS Server - Leave Blank
In the Finished Window, click on the "Run the DSL Diagnostic Tests Now" Button, then click "Finish". The Diagnostics will test whether or not the modem software is installed correctly and the modem's ability to Train on your DSL line, and will then ask you to connect to the ISP. Once you have connected, verify that you can pull up a web page - you're done!
