Fine condition = light stains and/or some fading, yellowing or tiny tears. The paper of fine is more supple.
Good condition = moderate to heavy wear with yellowing and/or light marking, some what bridle paper, light corrosion on staples, tears, tape, stains, binding flaking, tears, frayed edges, light book worm damage. Pages can be handled without flaking
Poor condition = broken binding, tape, bridle paper, rust on staples, heavy yellowing, larger tears, mildew, tape, book worm damage, frayed edges. Paper would flake if handled roughly. Still intact and readable.
